Rear Rack & Pinion Kit

The Rear Rack & Pinion Kit includes:

• The Rack modified & reconditioned with new Tie Rods

• Tie Rod ends

• Intermediate shaft modification

• Brackets

  • These are a four piece unit welded together so that all you have to do is place them on the cross member & weld - they are made in such a way that you can't get it wrong.  However, we can do this at no extra cost

• Steering Column & Shaft

The cost of the Rear Rack kit is $680.00

In addition to the kit you will also need to supply

If we fit the Rear Rack & Pinion Kit

To have us fit the kit will cost you  $1,580.00.  This includes:

• Kit

• Cutting your sump to shape

• Modification Plate

• Wheel alignment

• Labor to fit the kit

Note that we require payment for the kit up front.  If there are any hassles which increase the labor time, additional time will be charged.

HR cross members that you supply which require disassembly and cleaning, will incur an additional charge of $50.00.  Sandblasting is an additional $120.00, and all components will then be painted with black enamel or primer. The sump will require modification costing $150.00.

The only thing you are required to do before you bring the car to us is to give your engine bay and suspension a scrub with the degreaser so that when we're working on your 'pride & joy' we don't leave grubby hand prints all over your paint and upholstery.
